Windows 7 run program as administrator by default?

I know I can run a Windows 7 program as administrator by right-clicking and selecting "run as administrator." But is there a way to get it to always run as administrator. In other words - by simply left-clicking the icon and not always having to go through the right-click process?

    Any help is much appreciated!

Yes there is, good question. Right-click the program file and select "Properties" from the drop-down (towards the bottom). Next, select the "Compatibility" tab. Towards the bottom, under "Privilege Level," you should see a check box next to "Run this program as an administrator." Check this box and hit OK to save your changes. This will effectively set the application to always be run with administrator privileges.
