Our bookstore uses USPS flat rate boxes for most of it's shipping. I would like to set up shipping quotes in Ubercart 2.x on our Drupal 6.19 site to support this type of shipping.

Does anyone know how to do this? Is there someone who would take this on as a paid project?

Actually you want to enable "triggered renewals" in the "recurring fees" settings page, or they won't be triggered. At least, that's my experience with Authorize.net and CIM with Drupal's Ubercart and recurring fees.

The notify module/ notification settings were in Ubercart 1.x. In 2.x, you need to browse to "Conditional Actions" at
/admin/store/ca/overview

You'll see "Notify customer when a role is granted". Simply edit it and change it to "disabled." The same applies to other notifications.

I'm trying to disable the "new role" notification settings in Ubercart 6.22, for Drupal 6.x. I read somewhere that I'm supposed to browse to the Store Config > Notification settings page after enabling the "Notify" module, but I can't find that setting anywhere?

Specifically, I don't want emails sent out upon new role notifications. I'm using a "file download" role that lets users download files. They are sent a link to the file, they don't need an additional email notifying them that they've been upgraded to a new role - they won't know what that means.

First, you'll want to check the obvious - that you've actually enabled payment methods at
/admin/store/settings/payment/edit/methods

Next, make sure you have the recurring fees (hosted) module (a part of Ubercart) enabled. Next, you'll want to browse to
/admin/store/settings/products/edit/features

On this page, select "Recurring Fee Settings". Make sure you have checked a valid payment method. For example:

Paypal website payments standard (paypal_wps)

Credit card (authorizenet)

If you're using Ubercart's recurring payment module with Authorize.net ARB or CIM, you'll want to uncheck "Enable triggered renewals".

Finally, save your configurations. You should now be able to browse to the checkout page, as an anonymous (logged out) user, and see your payment options (without the "Checkout cannot be completed without any payment methods enabled. Please contact an administrator to resolve the issue." error).

I'm using Ubercart and Drupal. When I try and checkout with a subscription item in my cart, I get the following error (but only when I'm not logged in):

Checkout cannot be completed without any payment methods enabled. Please contact an administrator to resolve the issue.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I don't get this error message when purchasing a non-subscription product.

Hi Nicki,

In your shipping methods settings - browse to quote methods > flat rate. Then, create a new flat rate with base price $6.95 (this is your flat shipping rate). Once you've created the flat rate, click on "conditions" next to it.

You'll want to create two conditions:

Add a condition and choose "order > check the order total." Set the Order total value: to $29 and select "Total is greater than or equal to specified value" under the "Order total comparison type:" setting.

Add another condition. This time, set the order total to $49 and select "Total is less than specified value." Save your changes.

Voila - now any order placed that is between $29 and $49 will be charged a flat $6.95 shipping rate. You'll want to setup additional conditions for orders that fall below $29 and above $49.

hello, First thank you for the above post it helped out a lot. Second i seem to be a bit confused. I do only want to charge per order total and not per product.

If I am setting the per product default to 0.00 then where is my shipping cost set at. I don't see anywhere in the conditional actions to say if your order is between ($29 and $49) then charge a flat amount of $6.95?

Thank you so much
Nicki

You'll also want to browse to "Website Payment Preferences" under "Selling Preferences" on your Profile page, and make sure that, if you have "Auto Return" enabled, that your "Return URL" is valid.

You can set it to
http://www.example.com/uc_paypal/wps/complete
to force visitors back to your website upon payment completion within Paypal.
