You can delete all the aliases and then re-create them in pathauto (under automated alias settings). For each user/ node/ taxonomy - click on "Bulk generate aliases for nodes that are not aliased" and hit "Save configuration" at bottom.
Make sure you have "Create a new alias. Delete the old alias." set as the update action under "General settings" (you'll probably want to change this back to "Do nothing. Leave the old alias intact" when you're done to avoid inadvertently overwriting aliases for indexed pages.

One thing to note before you do this - the aliases will be recreated according to the settings you have chosen. If you previously created any manual aliases, these might differ from the newly created aliases. This can result in a duplicate content penalty from search engines in the event that they have the page indexed under both aliases.

Is there a way to mass delete aliases in Drupal? I've ported over a database from another site and there's literally hundreds of unused aliases I need to get rid of. Even better would be a way to delete aliases that are not in use.

I'm using Drupal 6.x. Currently, on the alias setting screen, I'm only able to delete aliases one at a time.

From our quick test, it appears that there's pros and cons for each. Here's the pros:

CKEditor
* Intuitive layout of images with thumbnails
* You can easily add and delete sub-folders

IMCE
* You can select more than one image to delete at a time

I've finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the new CKEditor in Drupal (from FCKEditor), and I'm very happy. I'm currently using IMCE, but noticed that I can also select a "CKFinder" image editor.

Does CKFinder have any significant advantages/ disadvantages over IMCE? And if so, what are they?

Thanks!

It was an embedded Flash (SWF) code segment, loading a photo gallery, that was causing the issue. I removed the code, re-created the page (since the changes still wouldn't save on the old page), and now everything works as it should.

There are certain code elements - such as <embed> objects, that will conflict with FCKeditor and cause the changes to your page not to be submitted. Make sure there's only standard HTML present on the page and you should be good to go.

I'm using Drupal 5.x and FCKeditor 2.5. Everything has been working smoothly until recently, when I gave a client access to the "source code" button. On my front page, when I try and make a change - I hit "submit" and get the notification that the page has been updated.

However, the changes aren't being saved. Any ideas why? If I disable FCKeditor, incidentally, the changes save again.

Our bookstore uses USPS flat rate boxes for most of it's shipping. I would like to set up shipping quotes in Ubercart 2.x on our Drupal 6.19 site to support this type of shipping.

Does anyone know how to do this? Is there someone who would take this on as a paid project?

Yes, you can use the following PHP snippet to check a Drupal user's role. Basically this searches the user role array to see if that user has the specified role "initial signup." If it does, then they get redirected to the "registration-success" page. If not (this assumes they're an authenticated user), they get redirected to the "welcome" page.

global $user;
if (in_array("initial signup", array_values($user->roles))) {
    return 'registration-success';
} else { return 'welcome'; }

I have an "initial signup" role that gets created immediately after signup, and upgraded to "authenticated user" when they confirm their email address (to prevent spam).

Completely uninstalling webform and re-installing it fixed the issue. I also increased the name varchar for the variable table from 128 to 255, but that was earlier and didn't seem to affect anything.
